About the Course

Introduction to Theology

The Introduction to Theology Course provides an insight into “the words that talk about God” and God’s revelations to humankind. Simply put, it is the study of God.  It is a systematic journey primarily based upon the Bible, but it also embodies several scientific properties: such as, order, reason, argument, and method.  This course will analyze theology as an introduction and guide into and through the Christian faith, as well as provide an overview of concepts, traditions, and debates that look to understand the nature of God, the purpose of life, and the moral aspects of human experience.  It will study and dissect the essence of the theological doctrines of God, Creation, Christology, Pneumatology, Soteriology, Ecclesiology, and Eschatology.
